Mike Staropoli
Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Specialist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Michael has always had a deep passion for building relationships, problem solving and helping others accomplish their goals. As someone who is an eternal optimist, he never feels there is a goal to large or small that doesn’t require the highest level of attention and devotion.
Michael graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy as well as Bachelors in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University. He then went on to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, demonstrating advanced skills, knowledge and clinical experience as an expert in his field as well as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Finding true enjoyment and love for growing his skillset and doing everything he can to help his clients feel better, faster, Michael also has advanced training in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), is a Functional Dry Needling specialist and utilizes Kinesiotaping. He has also has extensive experience working with elite level soccer players and has his FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine.
Quickly excelling in his profession, Michael quickly began making a name for himself in Fairfield County because of his skillset, high service standard and results produced within the community. He has always believed in giving each client a high quality and customized experience because no one is the same as the next and should not be treated that way! Michael makes your ultimate goal his own. This is why he developed GOAL.
In addition to managing GOAL, Michael was previously the first team physio for the New York Red Bulls in Major League soccer as well as currently is a physical therapist with Red Bull Performance, working with many of the Red Bull sponsored athletes you may see across various sports.
When Michael isn’t treating, he spends his time as an adjunct faculty member in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Sacred Heart University, playing and watching soccer, former semi-pro catagory 2 cyclist, and spending time with his family.
